Display

The Display category allows the administrator to define the following parameters:

• Set wallpaper
• Add shortcut
• Remove shortcut
• Set brightness
• Set volume
• Set language
• Set date and time

Set wallpaper

Customize the devices wallpaper:

1. Click Add and Set wallpaper.

2. Browse for your image file by clicking Browse.

   Warning

   Image files must be in PNG or JPG format.

3. (Optional) Enter a text to insert on the home screen and select a position on the screen.

4. Click Apply.

Add shortcut

Add a website, file or application shortcut on the device home screen:

1. Click Add and Add shortcut.

2. Fill the following fields with the desired values:

   • Name: Specify a shortcut name.
   • Type: Specify the type of the resource you wish to add as a shortcut.
   • Location: Specify the URL, path or application package name depending on the type of resource.

Remove shortcut

Remove a shortcut from the devices home screen:

1. Click Add and Remove shortcut.
2. In Shortcut name, enter the name of the shortcut to remove as it appears on the home screen.
3. Click Apply.

Set brightness

Define the screen brightness of the devices:

1. Click Add and Set brightness.

2. Choose either to:

   • adjust automatically by clicking Automatic brightness.
   • set a custom brightness using the Brightness bar.

3. Click Apply.

Set volume

Define sound settings of devices:

1. Click Add and Set volume.

2. Check the following options to get the desired result:

   • Sound profile: Activate sound profiles. Select a mode: Silent, Vibrate or Normal.
   • Multimedia volume: Activate multimedia volume control. Use the bar to set the sound volume of audio and video files.
   • Ringtone volume: Activate ringtone volume control. Use the bar to set the sound volume of the device ringtone.
   • Alarm volume: Activate alarm volume control. Use the bar to set the sound volume of alarms.
   • Notification volume: Activate notification volume control. Use the bar to set the sound volume of notifications.
   • In-call volume: Activate voice calls volume control. Use the bar to set the sound volume of voice calls.
   • System volume: Activate global volume control. Use the bar to set the sound volume of system settings.

3. Click Apply.

Set language

Define the language of devices:

1. Click Add and Set language.
2. Select a language from the drop-down list.
3. Click Apply.

Set date and time

Edit date and time settings:

1. Click Add and Set date and time.
2. Enable or disable automatic setting of date and time.
3. Enable or disable automatic detection of timezone.
4. Enable or disable hour display in 24-hour format.
5. Click Apply.
